Do not worry, we haven't forget about you! I'll try to summarize contents of the previous sections and also a bit enlighten customs at our weddings.
Just let us say - we really appreciate that you are coming and we are happy to spend our big day with you as well :) And to make it easier, more details are coming here.
Sections
If you are interested, what is in previous sections in order it is: Introduction, The story of bride & groom, Before the wedding, The wedding day, Most wanted people, Photogallery (where you will find photos after the wedding), Wedding gifts, What to see around Chomutov... and this section. In case you are trying to translate them, they are written in Slovak ;)
wedding details
Wedding is going to take place 25/8/2018 at 14:00 in Chomutov, Czech Republic - the hometown of Darja. You are invited +1, of course.
travelling
The best option for you would be to flight to Prague airport. You can easily get there from Charleroi by Ryanair, or from Eindhoven by Transavia. Several regular lines are operating also from Zaventem. Prague airport is just next to a highway to Chomutov, so borrowing a car at the airport might be a good option. Otherwise you have to get to the city and then take a bus or train to Chomutov.
Coming by a car is also an option, it takes about 8 - 9 hours to get from Gent to Chomutov.
Before/after the wedding
In case you are taking a small vacation and you would like to have some sightseeing in Prague, eventually you would like to see some other beauties of Czech Republic, we can give you some tips. Also we can try to assign you some "liaison officer", who would help you with that. You can count with somebody attending to you during the most important parts of the ceremony and the feast as well, to have a translation etc. If you are interested in doing something around Chomutov, you might get some inspiration here.
Accommodation
We're taking care of our guests' accomodation and we're counting with you to come already on Friday 24/8 to Chomutov. If you would like to come just on Saturday (e. g. to spend a night before in Prague), please let us know. You are going to stay in ESOZ dormitory.
wedding day
Filip agreed to help you during the day with translations and explanations of customs etc.
The wedding is taking place in a "Nanebevzati Panny Marie" church (see top map), it will be including the mass. After the ceremony we are transferring by a bus to our wedding feast. The feast starts with a dinner, followed by our first dance... and then a lot of dancing, (most probably) a wedding raffle and a newlyweds' quiz, more of eating and drinking ... There will be drivers at the feast who will drive you to your accommodation when you ask them.
